Southwest District Health is an equal opportunity employer that employs approximately 100 full-time people dedicated
to public health services. The largest Hispanic population in the State of Idaho is located in Southwest Idaho;
therefore, the Health District hires bilingual (Spanish) staff whenever possible to enhance customer service efforts
for clients who speak no English or speak English as a second language.
Positions are often available in job classifications such as: clinical assistant, receptionist, customer service
representative, registered nurse, registered dietician, licensed environmental health specialist, health education
specialist, administration, and accounting. Positions that require bi-lingual writing and speaking ability will have
