Idaho Food Safety and Sanitation Certification
Southwest District Health is in the process of finalizing dates, times and locations for food safety classes that will be offered to food service personnel. The presentations will cover food safety and sanitation and the importance of maintaining proper temperatures and hand washing as well as other useful and practical information.
The class is designed to provide the information necessary to keep your food establishment customer friendly and customer safe. The class will fulfill the "Demonstration of Knowledge" requirement per the Idaho Food Code. The cost of the 4-hour class will be $25. There will be a test at the end of each session and, upon successful completion of the test, a health certificate will be issued.
Up-coming certified food safety class dates are:
- April 8, 2010
- June 11, 2010
- September 9, 2010
